Dr Rachel Derby BDS, MSc Endo
Principal Dentist | GDC 193038
Dr Rachel Derby is an award-winning dentist with a special interest in Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry. She is
the senior dentist at our High Wycombe practice.
After graduating from the University of Manchester in 2010 as Undergraduate Student of the Year, she went on to achieve a Distinction in her MSc in Endodontics in 2020.
She was named Young Dentist of the Year in 2021 and has been a finalist at both the Private Dentistry Awards and
the Dental Awards.
Rachel believes in a holistic approach to dentistry, combining orthodontics with cosmetic treatments such as composite bonding and porcelain restorations to achieve beautiful, long-lasting results.
She is also an advocate for the profession, serving as a Director and Chair of Education for the British Association of Private Dentistry.
Dr Neil Evans BDS Hons

Dr Neil Evans is Principal Dentist and Co-Owner of Chapel Dental Practice in Flackwell Heath, Buckinghamshire. He graduated with a BDS (Hons) from London and later completed a Master of Clinical Dentistry (MClinDent) in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics at King’s College London, where he was awarded Distinction. He also holds a BSc (Hons) in Biological Sciences from the University of Brighton and a Postgraduate Diploma in Skin Ageing and Aesthetic Medicine from the University of Manchester.With more than a decade of experience working in leading private dental practices across Hove and London’s West End, Neil has developed a strong reputation for advanced restorative and prosthodontic dentistry. He has a particular interest in helping nervous patients and those with complex dental concerns, taking a calm, gentle and highly personalised approach to care.
Neil enjoys restoring broken or heavily worn teeth, replacing missing teeth with implants, bridges and dentures, and creating natural-looking smile improvements using Invisalign, cosmetic bonding and aesthetic treatments. His focus is always on delivering high-quality dentistry in a relaxed, welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable and supported.
Together with his wife Rachel, Neil co-owns and manages Chapel Dental Practice, an award-winning practice known for its patient-centred care and modern approach to dentistry. Neil and Rachel have also been recognised as Best Practice Owners at prestigious dental industry awards.
Outside of dentistry, Neil enjoys running, swimming, cycling and spending time with his family.
Erica Byrant
Care Co-ordinator | GDC No: 291754
With nearly ten years of experience in dentistry, Erica has worked in a variety of roles, including receptionist, dental nurse, implant nurse, and treatment coordinator.Her warm and approachable nature, combined with excellent communication skills, enables her to provide reassurance and support to patients throughout their treatment journey. Erica is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and is continually committed to expanding her knowledge and expertise within the dental field.
A three-time winner of the UK’s Best Front of House award, Erica is recognised for her dedication to excellence and outstanding patient experience. She has also lectured at ExCeL London, sharing her expertise on the patient journey and advising practices on how to enhance and elevate the overall patient experience.
Outside of work, Erica enjoys long walks with her dog, cycling, and spending quality time with her family.
Jayaa Joshi BSc Hons
Dental Hygienist | BSc Hons | GDC No: 264417
Jayaa was born and raised in Manchester and qualified with a BSc (Hons) in Dental Hygiene and Therapy from the University of Birmingham. She is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred care and believes strongly in a prevention-first approach to support overall wellbeing.After completing a postgraduate diploma in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry, Jayaa developed a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry, focusing on natural, confident smile transformations. She is committed to ongoing professional development and regularly attends courses to stay current with the latest techniques.
Jayaa has experience in community dentistry and supporting nervous and paediatric patients, creating a calm and reassuring environment. She has also delivered oral health education sessions in local schools and nurseries. In 2017, she volunteered in Nepal providing dental care to underserved communities.
Outside of work, Jayaa enjoys staying active, travelling, photography, and spending time with family and friends.
Tashnuha (Tash)
Lead in Infection Control | GDC 332571
Tashnuha (Tash) joined Chapel Dental Practice in February 2026 and has quickly become an invaluable member of our team. She has taken on the role of Lead in Infection Control, ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance are consistently maintained throughout the practice.With a strong passion for her role, Tash is recognised for her excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail. She is a highly skilled dental nurse, confidently assisting across all areas of dentistry, including surgical procedures, general dentistry, and gum therapy.
Since joining us, Tash has integrated seamlessly into the team and is highly valued by both colleagues and patients for her friendly approach, dedication, and professionalism.
